What are we watching tonight: a wall unit or TV? We usually go for a wall unit because there are thousands of stories in it, the best movies, even funny cartoons if we want to see them.
We are counting the trees looking at the wooden cubicles our wall unit is made of. We are describing the woods where the tree had grown... " Oh no, this did not grow in the woods but somewhere alone", our ten-year-old little poet says,"it grew all alone, the wind flogged it, that is why it is dark, with sorrow..."
"This is a plane", our six-year old in love with racing and planes said seriously, , pointing to the lower part of the table in the living room... One more happy evening without TV. We have our stories and fairy tales, movies, car races, and some other secrets - hidden in our shelves. Waiting for us to find them.
