Designed in the way that it is functional to a maximum degree, this kitchen calls for attention with its variety of details. Perfectly integrated, these details intertwine and complement each other creating the image of what we need at a certain moment.

The structure of wood and two colors: that was all that needed to be emphasized in this model: The structure of wood is taking us to nature, through the woods, we are crossing all boundaries - we are touching the sky together with the tops of the trees. We gently feel the pores of the wood under our fingers and the wood seems to be alive just as we are. This is the feeling of belonging to something primeval, to something that comes from nature. The two contrasting colors remind us that not everything is white or black, that life is more complex than that. Essentially, they are very simple: dark color - almost black, and the light color - almost white.

The main parts are made of wood: beech panels veneered in oak. The kitchen door fronts are made of wood: solid oak. The butcher- block top is made of wood: lamellated beech panel 4 mm thick. It would be a sin to treat a wood kitchen with chemical varnishes and paints. It is made of wood to be healthy. It was specially treated with oil finishes. These plant based oils contain plant pigments. In order to protect fronts additionally, they went through a special process which will remain our business secret. But we'll say that they last long, longer than parts which are treated with chemical varnishes.

This final treatment has several advantages to it:

1. The most important: completely natural, without any formaldehyde from chipboard or poisonous outgassing from varnishes - the oil penetrated the wood to stay there forever.

2. Another important thing is that this kind of furniture lasts longer. Even if it gets damaged it is not thrown away but is simply "refinished". The upper damaged layer is sanded and additional coat of oil is applied with a sponge or brush and after that a coat of oil finish is applied.

The feelings are getting mixed: sorrow and happiness. The colors are getting mixed: the black and white. Day is mixed with night, a stormy sky with a sunny day -here, the oak and the beech are mixed in two natural colors. So harmonious, so unusual. Simple, and yet so complicated. Like your life and my life. Do you remember the time when we walked through the woods? It was fall, we collected leaves and admired their golden yellow colors. We were dreaming all the time. Look, this oak and this beech are from that wood. I recognized them..."
